The kiddo’s and I went to go skiing this morning but the mountain has most of the chairs closed due to 40 mph winds and temps in the single digits.
Look at this rust free 10 year old Mazda. I love my car.
Check out it’s frosty behind after our 30 minute drive to the ski resort and back.

Not sure what brand the place I go uses, but it’s that waxy undercoating stuff....get it done every year, so far no rust coming throuh on Humdrum after 111,000kms!

Closing the lifts for wind? Were you in Idaho?

Whitefish MT. I turned around once we got to the base lodge. Steady 20+ mph gusting to 40 mph. No va for this guy.

My friend’s Mazda 3 hatch makes the perfect ski vehicle! Even his car being from this decade still has way too much rust on the bottom of it.
Wind holds are the worst though. You look at the lift status report before heading to the mountain, see everything is open, then get there and like only the shitty ones are open or something. Plus even if they are open, the lift ride is just brutal with those sort of winds.
